Classical Wedding Guitar Music in Philadelphia

picture of a wedding musicianKale Good has been playing and teaching guitar in the Philadelphia area since 2006, holding positions at Music Forte (Levittown), Wissahickon Valley Arts Center (Roxborough), and Holy Child Academy (Drexel Hill), and giving private lessons along the Main Line and in Philadelphia. Kale has received two Bachelor of Music degrees from Temple University; one in Classical Guitar Performance and one in Music Theory. He was awarded a 2009 Diamond Scholars Research Award and was selected as the 2010 Bruce Archibald Memorial Award recipiant. He has presented for the Music Theory Society of the Mid-Atlantic and has had a composition for solo flute, titled "The Wizard's Witness", performed on the spring 2010 Glaux Contemporary Music Concert. In 2009, Kale stopped workin' for the man and started workin' for himself teacing guitar lessons in Philadelphia.

Kale continues to invest his time and energy in becoming the best guitarist he can be. He actively studies with renowned teacher Patrick O'Brien (classical), who has helped him develop as a professional guitarist by giving him practical guidence that college degrees alone overlook.

Kale enjoys hiking, chess, cooking, and reading in his free time.
